“Aww, do I have to practice the piano?” Learning piano online while really cool is also a routine we get into and sometimes just don’t want to practice.
Believe it or not, everyone is motivated by something–usually by what is the most fun! The trick is to find it!
So how can you make practicing the piano or doing the dishes as gratifying as playing video games or updating Facebook?
Can you help your daughter or yourself see the benefit in completing schoolwork or housework, as well as playing soccer with her friends or having a girls night out with friends for you?
YES, You can!
Try channeling your energy into positive, productive, and motivated learning experiences. Foster a creative learning environment. Model positive behaviors and habits. Help your kids (and you) avoid burnout and manage stress by learning that being responsible really can be fun.
Brainstorm together! Write your own simple piece of music. Play with partner side by side. Change the order of your practice time.. play what you love the best 1st, then the scales. Play cheerful music when you are down. Learning piano online is teaching you the basics and more that you can have fun with.
And most of all…Laugh more often!
“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.”
We all make mistakes; none of us is perfect. Forgive your imperfections, accept your faults, and LAUGH!
Laughter really is good for the soul!

Some good tips there. I will have to try some of these the next time I don’t really feel like practicing the piano!
