The broadcast is over, but you are welcome to watch the recording – you will be amazed at how “live” it feels.
I announced my newest services that will help you get on track and stay on track with your piano progress!
I did a continuation of last weeks broadcast of learning Carol of the Bells:

I was behind the eight ball for a while with the piano/keyboard lessons but I am trying to play catch-up by watching your previous video broadcasts. So far everything has been looking good. The lighting was a little shadowy in the beginning but the audio is fine. I don’t know where the lesson plans you used came from though. Your live broadcast video text said you were using “Google Hangouts” but I interpeted that as meaning “Google Handout”, but i couldn’t find them either. Anyhow, so far so good with your project.
Good to hear Paul, it’s always easy to get off track but getting back on the train is the important part. Keep it up 🙂

Lisa, try to zoom in zoom out
I am at level 7 , so I haven’t worked with the flats and sharp keys yet. Therefore I’m just watching your instructions and hints about this song.
I suggest you put you hand on the keyboard and maybe the camera will focus on your movement….
Lisa does your camera have a focus button?
Looks good
just try move it towards the keyboard forth and back
you got it
Hi Lisa i like this method to learn piano
Lisa what will be the cost of the classes?
Hi Lisa,
I just logged on for the lesson. One question, what about the left hand rest? I notice you keep your left hand finger on the key for 3 beats instead of 2. Is that how left hand rests are played?
Great observation – You are right, I should have been releasing each bass note after two beats instead of holding it down the entire 3 beats. I talk more about this on the video.
I find it easier to cross over in measure 23 easier. is that ok
Yes, that is OK, just as long as the change also permits moving onto the next notes/measure with smooth transitions.
Hi Lisa I like this so much Are you counting when you play faster it is so hard for me to keep counting when I go faster.
No, I am not counting after I learn the song. I count during the learning process and during the slower tempos, then when I am completely confident that the count/rhythm is correct, I stop counting.
Thank you!
thank you lisa
now I need to practice
Thank you so much. Am looking forward to the next lesson.
in measure 25 i didn’t get the flat and sharp thing… needs more help on that
The second note in measure 25 is a Middle C with a sharp sign, so you would play the black note directly to the right. The third note is E flat, which is played on the black note directly to the left of the E. And the 4th note is E with a natural sign, which cancels the previous E flat, and so you play a natural E. See video for demo.
Thank you, Lisa! I really like this type of lessons! I need practice with my left hand notes!
Thank you so much for doing this. good night..
Thank you! Now I can practice for Christmas time.
Lisa,
The pace of the lesson is good so please don’t go faster.
