Just some food for thought...... 1. Practice Regularly Never practice piano when you are tired you cannot focus and concentrate well enough to make good progress. Practicing your piano lessons requires good coordination and music reading skills. To get best results with your piano playing practice daily for at least 20-30 minutes a day. 2. Set Realistic Goals When studying your song, set realistic goals. Find a song that is right, and fits your musical knowledge and skills. Songs are continually being added to my site (both free and for members) as I create them. If you have a request for a song, you may add your request as a comment to this post for future consideration. I am not accepting personal requests that require a deadline such as a wedding, exams, special occasions, etc. I do not accept any requests for songs that are currently copyrighted. Why is beginner music limited to 5-finger songs?
First of all, don't let that question scare you... in my curriculum you won't be limited to 5 finger songs... I have remedied that and you will be able to play some familiar songs right away. However, aside from my special "remedy" I do start with teaching you a few songs in the 5 finger position. The reason you won't find the songs you want to learn in an easy 5 finger format is because most songs have a broader reach of notes than just the 5 fingers. You won't get into the more familiar songs until you have increased your knowledge of notes.
