A note from Lisa: I realized that if my students just took 10 minutes out of every day, and only practiced for 10 minutes every day that they would learn so much more because they would not forget what they learned yesterday and they could build on what they had just learned. At the same time they would build a good habit that would make them yearn to learn how to play the piano. Everyone can make 10 minutes by going to bed 10 minutes later or getting up 10 minutes earlier. You see what I mean? You can do it! Without the thought of 10 minutes a day, in their minds it is just too hard to squeeze it in. It really isn't hard if you really want to learn. If you have any questions Continue Reading

The one thing that will slow your progress is going long periods of time without practicing. You need to practice at the minimum 2-3 times a week, at the best, 5-7 times a week. Each practice session should be at Continue Reading
