After a week in Homer, we were ready to leave and go to our next destination. We spend all morning preparing the RV for departure, a chore in itself, but even a bigger chore when you haven’t moved in a week. We ran into some problems with our septic tank overflowing into the motorhome… what a mess we had to clean! On the road, a cabinet swung open and a bottle of vinegar came tumbling out, spraying vinegar all over an unsuspecting sleeping Zach!
Soldotna was our original destination, but we decided to go toward the coast and stay in a beautiful RV park called Beluga Overlook. It overlooked the mouth of the famous Kenai River. The pictures below show the view from above, and our walk down to the water.
