Fuer Elise

A must in your piano collection!

If you haven't learned the first half of this song, go to Lesson 8, Page 5.
The instructions for this song starts in measure #9 at the blue line...

1. The yellow boxes show you two new three-note patterns. The first is Low C, G and Middle C...use the fingering indicated...it will "feel" just like the patterns in the first half of the song. The second yellow box has a Low G, D, and G. Again, this will "feel" the same as the other patterns.

The rest of the song has the same three-note patterns as the first half of the song.

2. There are little green arrows between notes that are far apart on the piano...when you place your thumb (#1) on the first note, your #5 will stretch far to reach the next note. I placed the names of the notes above the high ones to help you a little. Stretching does not mean you have to keep your thumb on the lower note while you are reaching for the higher note...you may let go, but keep your fingers stretched out like you are trying not to let go. I hope this makes sense.

3. The fingering in RED is especially important to pay attention to.
