1. This is a long song and has some challenging sections, but it is within your reach....take your time and you will be able to perform it beautifully! If you practice it every day and do EXACTLY as I tell you, an average learner (provided you completed all 8 free lessons), will be able to play this song hands together slowly in about 3 weeks and in the correct tempo in about 6-8 weeks.

2. I divided this song into four pages. You will need to learn each page separately. The listening links will be at a slow tempo. After you learn all four pages fluently, click here to view the entire song on one page.

3. Ready? The first thing you are going to do is learn and memorize the left hand. The first 4 measures are highlighted in yellow for you. The fingering is important. These 4 measures will repeat throughout the entire song.

4. After learning the left hand, start learning the right hand by first finding all the notes that are marked with letters. These are notes that are below MIddle C, they "invade" the left hand area. They are B, A, and G. Make sure you know where to find them on the keyboard. (B is to the left of Middle C, A is to the left of B and G is to the left of A.

5. Learn this song in groups of 4 measures at a time....the first measure of the right hand has the fingering marked. Follow this fingering pattern (1-2-5, 1,3,5) throughout the first 4 measures with the exception of the 4th measure which indicated the change.

6. Measure five shows a finger pattern which is to be followed throughout measures 5-8. The note that is yellow is held down with your #5 (pinky) finger while your #1 (thumb) and #3 are playing the three notes which are marked in blue. You can practice this little finger pattern on your desktop so you can get the feel for it before applying it to the correct notes. Here's how: Using your right hand of course, place your pinky on the desk and hold it there while you touch the desktop first with your thumb, your #3 finger and then your thumb again. Remember that your pinky never leaves the desk. Practice this a few times.

7. The remaining 4 measures have the same finger pattern, except that you need to use two fingers to hold down the yellow notes, while you reach for the next three.
